The UURA project focuses on solving the challenges identified in business life in the Kainuu region by means of co-development. Kainuu has a strong forest bioeconomy ecosystem with operators established in locations such as the Renforsin Ranta business park in Kajaani and in Kuhmo.

Water expertise has been identified as one of the shared strengths of Eastern and Northern Finland. The AWE – Arctic Water Excellence project aims to contribute to strengthening the coordinated regional specialisation and cooperation in the water sector in Eastern and Northern Finland.

The KUHA 2 project will implement the storage of athlete and synthetic data from different sources in a shared data pool, with due consideration given to the requirements related to data protection and research ethics.
